An interesting turn of events.
Ah well, so on last Thursday I went to get the form and have it signed by my assistant director of consortium, Mr Chew Tyng Yong to transfer out. On last Friday and this Monday, I forgot. So today, I with my friend Mattheus went to see him. He was not in. Therefore we went to see our director of consortium, Mrs Ke. We were informed that we were unable to transfer out of the class as MOELC(Language Center) complained that too many students were transferring out of Thursday and could no longer transfer out of the Thursday class. We were reassured by Mrs Ke that the research studies will be pushed back so that all those affected could attend both the research studies and the 3rd language.
On the good side, my Tuesdays are free and I am able to go home early(compared to the days I have to stay back). On Thursdays I am also able to meet more of my friends. On the other hand, I shall be piled with homework on Thursdays, though I am quite sure I should be able to cope. All in all I am actually quite happy with the interesting turn of events. Strange that because forgetfulness, things have turned out in a good way. Of course I am not saying that being forgetful is a good thing :).
Bless be to all of us.

How to prepare for the Literature/English EOY
Essay and Situational Writing:
To prepare for this is hard. Writing essays is almost an on-the-spot thing. It takes creativity and careful writing to achieve a good mark. With an unknown topic, one can only perhaps practice their grammar and vocabulary skills to avoid losing marks.
Comprehension
This one could do with some preparation. One has to understand the passage, which is where understanding prose proves to be a valuable asset. Also the vocabulary section also can be helpful to gain the extra 5 marks. Micro Fiction would help in the Summary. Time management is crucial.
Literature
There is one definite factor here. Animal Farm - Squealer. One should read up on the notes given to prepare for the exam. For the unseen piece, reading up the notes and previous assignments is also useful. Of course a good vocabulary can be put to good use in shortening and making it the answer "tighter".
For all the components, one factor is important. A good vocabulary. To obtain that, one should read more often and more widely.

MBA
Remember the days, we set out together with faith?
Remember the times, so fine, when we thought that
Nothing could stand in our way?
Then things weren't the same, the life that we knew had to change
We've struggled through, the darkest storms
We thought we couldn't tame
Together we've tried, as we stood side by side
I knew we'd build a new world
A world of hope for ever after
Chorus:
Deep in my heart I just know
Right from the start, we will grow
Look where we are, we've come so far
And there's still a long, long way to go
With all of my heart, I will care
I'll play my part, I will share
With family and friends, together we'll stand
And in the end, hand in hand
We will get there
So now we begin, working together to win
Believing in trust, it must
Be possible to overcome anything
There's so much to do, there's so much we can contribute
By sharing just a little love
We will start again anew
So why don't we try? If we stand side by side
I know we'll build a new world
A world of hope for ever after
Deep in my heart I just know
Right from the start, we will grow
Look where we are, we've come so far
And there's still a long, long way to go
With all of my heart, I will care
I'll play my part, I will share
With family and friends, together we'll stand
And in the end, hand in hand
We will get there

This poem expresses me – who I am, what I am like now, how I feel about life. The life during primary used to be easy and relaxed. “the times so fine.” My friends and I used to imagine ourselves as a grown-up, having graduated the top of the university. “when we thought that nothing could stand in our way.”
Then, things changed after we all advanced to secondary school. The life we had got used to over six years of primary education had to change. It changed from a relaxed to a busier schedule. “Then things weren't the same, the life that we knew had to change”. All of us struggled from the lack of sleep and the our ignorance of some topics that we now are so familiar with. “We've struggled through, the darkest storms”. We had thought we would never come through secondary school life. “We thought we couldn't tame”.
After the shock of the abrupt changes in our life, we decided that we would work best in a group so we got together despite going to different schools. “Together we've tried, as we stood side by side”. We still maintain the confidence that one day in the future, we will be successful in whatever field we are in and contribute to mankind in one way or another. “I knew we'd build a new world A world of hope for ever after”.
In my heart, I know that we will continue to advance and progress to the higher levels of education. “Deep in my heart I just know Right from the start, we will grow”. At the end of primary six, we looked back to our first day of primary one. It seemed such a long time ago. But when we look forward to our bright future, we realize there is a much longer path to follow. “Look where we are, we've come so far And there's still a long, long way to go”
I care for all those close and dear to me “with all of my heart”. I will play my part in the contribution to society, I will share what I know which others may not know. “I'll play my part, I will share” Friends and family are those who are closest and dearest to me, together we will walk on and work together towards our goals and finally, we will arrive at our destination. “With family and friends, together we'll stand And in the end, hand in hand We will get there”.
So now we start on the long arduous journey, working together towards our objectives. “So now we begin, working together to win”. We trust each other and believe in it, then we will be able to work as a cohesive group. “Believing in trust, it must”, thus being to achieve almost everything. “Be possible to overcome anything”
There is too much to do on this world, as much as we are able to contribute. “There's so much to do, there's so much we can contribute”. And just by sharing a little love by doing charity and helping the world’s people. “By sharing just a little love”.
We can then undo whatever wrong we have done. “We will start again anew”.
We ought to try to contribute, (So why don't we try?) if we work together we can make an entirely new, better world(I know we'll build a new world). A world better for the rest of the world. A world with hope.(A world of hope for ever after)
This poem shows what I place first in my heart; friends and family. I truly believe that working with those who I get along well with will increase the efficiency of our work. And the confidence that I have in my friends and I that we will one day be successful is from the bottom of my heart.
Since this song is about working together with other people; friends and family, and my learning style is interpersonal, I think a poem on working together is in order.
We are never alone
Even in the darkest of times,
When there was no light
At the end of a seemingly endless tunnel
We are never alone
We may sometimes think that
We have to do a task all by ourselves
But I will show you that
We are never alone
In the most hopeless of times
Where you have given up
You will see, beside you, family. See?
We are never alone
You decide to work with them
And together you
Start to chip away at the most solid of rock
Keeping others from you
And you hear on the other side
Similar scraping noises
We are never alone
Soon, by removing all that stands between allies
You soon mass a large number of friends
And with your family,
Start to rush to the narrow beam of light
Which was granted for your unity
The first arrives, and pulls the gap wider
So everyone can escape
The imprisonment of being alone
We are never alone
Having succeeded
Cheers and hugs,
Everyone is happy.
Even the jailer rejoices at the reunion of the prisoner
For it was the clever him
Who wanted to teach to all
We are never alone

Poem on a household ..... thing.
It can be bad
But without it my mood
Will turn sad
With it, there are two paths
One to go further in knowledge
In English, Science and Maths
The other to push you over the edge
P.S (It is a computer.)

Reflection for online lessons
On the whole, I spent more time with E-learning on the homework. This is because I have access to much more resources to give the best assignment and therefore I spent much time on the Internet doing research, and some times I get carried away.
II)Were you able to complete the Language Arts assignments in about an hour each or did they take longer?
Longer. I took things at a more relaxed pace and could use the resources I had do my work, such as the Internet.
III)I like assignment 3 the most as it allowed me to express my feelings and emotions through poetry. I did not like assignment 1 that much because I could not find much figurative language in my chosen poem.
IV)A designated day for to post each assignment so we do not attempt all at once in an attempt to finish the homework quickly(and to do other recreational activities) and ending up learning nothing at all. And perhaps some clearer formatting and instructions.
V) I enjoyed E-learning. The pace is relaxed yet time rushes past us in great dollops, and soon we will be back in school. Only thing is that there is little interaction and socialising. Great learning experience for English and other subjects.
Lesson 6
Q2)
I do not think that it is right to build a casino . Despite the fact that there are advantages, the negative effects of a casino outweigh its advantages.
Therefore, I object to the opening of a casino in
