Beginning of life in secondary school

I have just gotten past my first week of secondary school. I did not know it would be so different! The first week was mostly fun, and sweat. It was for us to orientate ourselves and to "break the ice".

There are now so many extra facilities in the school such as science laboratories, an auditorium and even a swimming pool! That is what I always wanted in my primary school. Many parts of the school is also air-conditioned, that is great for a person like me who perspires so much. The environment is really different. The school compound is so much larger and so is the field and the hall.

However their canteen is really different. The food sold is much tastier, the portions are larger, but the price is HIGH. What used to cost only 60 cents now costs $1.50. Wonder if all secondary students have bigger mouths and tummies. Surely they need to have bigger wallets. The good thing is that my pocket money has also increased! You see, my father is a man of compassion. The only smaller thing in the school compared to my primary school is the classrooms. Why? Don't know.

I have made some new friends.I have also met all our subject teachers. They were mostly nice but strict looking. We are supposed to read up on a lot of things to be able to complete our homework. This makes the subjects much more interesting and I like it better this way.

I really hope I will enjoy my secondary school life.
Just hope I don't get lost in the vastness first.
